    Kids learn to code! Staff from Finastra, a global financial software company, will teach kids basic coding using code.org tools. Kids will work in pairs on laptops provided by the library. Ages 8-12 welcome! Registration required.

    Join Emilie Eklund, of LIEFdesign, for an evening of creative play using watercolor pencils! We will be combining both drawing and painting to create art with these beautiful tools. Emilie will teach us how to use these pencils, as well as use examples and inspirations for you to create your own painting. No prior skills required. We will have watercolor paper and watercolor pencils for you to use during the class, so all you need to bring is your lovely self!

    Join us in making a stitched whisk broom! The handle is woven with broom corn stems. During the class, you will learn to process harvested broom corn and prepare the pieces for creating a Stitched Whisk Broom. All materials and tools will be provided. The students will have a choice of cords to weave and wind their brooms. Cost is $10/person and must be paid by 8/23.
