Georgetown Fire Station 1

  Station 1 was relocated in 1999 to its current location at the corner of 44th St and 14th Ave. This station is staffed with 17 paid on call firefighters including a captain and lieutenant. This station contains a ladder truck, two engines and a medical unit. It also has a cascade air fill system for resupplying air pack bottles. 

Truck 841

Truck 841
 Truck 841 is a 2001 Ferrara containing a 2000 gallon per minute pump and holds 350 gallons of water. The ladder will reach 100 ft and is used for aerial water operations along with ventilation of buildings. It carries a ventilation fan, special saws for roof ventilation along with a basket for getting injured persons from a roof. 841 carries 950 ft of 5 in hose.

Squad 871

 Squad 871 is 2014 Chevy Suburban. It is Medical First Responder certified.  It contains medical equipment along with fire investigation tools. The fire inspector uses this truck daily for his needs.

Engine 822

Engine 822
 Engine 822 is a 1993 HME containing a 1250 gallon per minute pump and holds 1000 gallons of water. It is used for spill clean up calls at accident scenes along with assisting with any structure fires. It contains hand tools and carries 1,000 ft of 5 in hose.

Engine 821

 Engine 821 is a 2006 HME with a 2000 gallon per minute pump and holds 750 gallons of water.  It contains a jaws of life rescue tool and a direct injection foam system with class A foam. This engine is Medical First Responder certified and carries 1000 ft of 5 in hose. 

890 Command

  The 890 Command truck is a 2008 GMC suburban. It is used by the Fire Chief for daily operations. It contains a slide out tray for tool storage and command operation resources.

Support trailer

Emergency trailer
  This support trailer is used in times of large scale events. It contains 70 cones and barricades for flooding, power outages, or hazmat situations. This trailer also has a generator which is wired to feed power at our largest intersection Main St. and Chicago Dr.
